The American Inn of Bethesda, a Bethesda Maryland hotel, is an independently owned property, which began welcoming guests in June 1985 when the Canterbury Management Co. took ownership and has had an increasingly successful existence ever since. It is a truly affordable alternative providing a charming, small inn atmosphere while attending to the guest's every need. Perhaps, this is the reason so many guests of the AMERICAN INN OF BETHESDA have returned again and again.

MISSION STATEMENT


The mission of the American Inn of Bethesda is to consistently offer courteous, efficient, and friendly service, comfortable and affordable accommodations, state-of-the- art technology in a convenient and pleasant environment. Our aim is to anticipate and fulfill the needs of our guests, who include government, military, corporate and leisure travelers to Bethesda and the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We accomplish our mission by running a financially sound operation, treating our employees and guests fairly and honestly, and being an integral and respected part of our community.
